Perfectly balanced vegan burger sauce for that classic burger flavour. Spread on burger buns or use as a dip for fries and tofu nuggets.

or sub for tomato paste (aka tomato puree)

yellow mustard
or sub for dijon mustard

hot sauce
optional

pickle relish
or sub for 1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles/gherkins and ¼ teaspoon sugar or maple syrup

apple cider vinegar
or sub for any white vinegar or lemon juice

pickle juice
from a jar of pickles

garlic powder

teaspoon
onion powder

smoked paprika
optional for a smoky flavour
Fine sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients.
150 ml vegan mayonnaise,
2 tablespoons ketchup,
1 tablespoon yellow mustard,
1 teaspoon hot sauce,
1 tablespoon pickle relish,
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar,
2 teaspoons pickle juice,
¼ teaspoon garlic powder,
¼ teaspoon onion powder,
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.
Fine sea salt and pepper to taste
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
If not using straight away, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
