These guys are such a success story. I was dreaming up a main to serve at dinner this year which was completely plant-based but which avoided meat substitutes. The idea was to serve something a little lighter, therefore leaving room for dessert. I whipped up these little fellas and was pleasantly surprised! The sweetness of the beet is matched perfectly by the earthy saltiness of the mushroom pâté and the slight nuttiness of the hazelnuts makes this bad boy like a savoury ferrero rocher!
